Sometimes readers get lucky and find a sequel that's even better than the first book. I'd say that's the case with Blood Brothers.Genetically enhanced Keagen and lycan Gabriel made a great dynamic duo in Blood Ties. With the addition of chameleon-like Ghost, the action kicks up into high gear. Throw in the Russian Mafia, a gentle giant named Tiny, and hot romance, and you've got a fun, fast-paced read. There's plenty of snarky dialogue and moments of sweet sentiment just to keep things real. Well, as real as they can be with genetic splicing and shifters!
It's not absolutely necessary to read Blood Ties first, but I recommend it. You'll have a much better feel for the relationships between the characters and an appreciation for how they have evolved.
